Hi, i was reading the guide on battery relocation and people were saying 25mm^2 wire should be used minimum etc.

However ive done some calcs, and based upon the gti6 starter being 1.1kW then a rough figure of 95amps can be found.

So surely 16mm^2 110amp wire would be plenty good enough?

For mains cable we use at work, 16mm2 is good for 63A and 35mm2 is good for 125A so 25mm2 for 95A looks about right.

mains is different though, ac is not the same as dc
