Hi,

I'm sorry if this question has been done to the death. I've been searching for a while and have found so many conflicting opinions with no actual dyno charts to prove anything. I've asked engine builders and they couldn't give me a definitive answer...

So here it is (as the thread is titled):

Gti6 intake manifold (with gti6 throttle body) on an S16 XU10 - what are the gains??

a load of messing about, for exactly what? (apart from going away from a slightly fragile set of components that work just fine most of the time, and a supposedly small throttle body)

I'd like to know too LOL

yes I did, I installed a 2.0 405 Mi16 RFY engine into a 205 for a lad on 205gtidrivers+PSOOC, it came with the gti6 manifold.

the dowel in the head needs removing, the oil filler pot and pipework need chopping about to fit, the MAP sensor port blanked, the RFS ICV removed and blanked, and the RFY ICV plumbed into the plastic takeoff.

MAP sensor needs a vac signal which I tee'd off the FPR signal pipe.

It drove well, but I've never seen it on a RR or up against any other 16v 205's, I'd leave it s it is, or fit throttle bodies Thumbs up

Hey, my little album Cool, Some of these are actually copied from people here and they aren´t really conclusive either. As it is now i have a well functioning ACAV system on mine, and as soon as "mr swampy S16" gets on the move and sends me the decat i´ll start sorting with the exhaust to.

I have a GTI6 inlet "on the shelf", but that is right now mostly sitting there if i decide to go BOOST Cool, which.... might very well happen Big grin
