All,

Yes, I have tried search, but couldn’t see a definitive answer.

I've got a V reg 6 so it’s got the RF locking system.

One of the batteries ran out in my remote blipper today so I bought a new one, put it in, tried the programming instructions in the manual and it’s not working, I’ve been trying to hours, all sorts of combinations and still nothing. I've got three keys:

1 Remote that does work
1 Remote that doesn’t work due to the flat batter
1 Normal key with no buttons

Any ideas how to program it back in so it works? No idea if they are the original keys as I didn’t buy the car new. However from the condition of them I would say they are the original keys.

Cheers,
Will

Hi,

On the phase III you cannot program the fobs to the car, it has to be done by Diagnostic machine. You can resync sometimes, depends how long the battery has been flat in the key.

Cosmic Spanner on here has a diagnostic machine of his own, and regularly goes to the ACE meet in London so might be worth dropping him a message as I'm sure he would do for a few beer tokens. I expect Peugeot will charge you a fair wack to do all three.

You new the code on the Blue Credit card to program the keys, and all the keys you want programmed to the car.

I have a spare locking remote which works so i just quickly put a brand new battery in that and it still works so im just using that at the moment.

Think i will just leave the other key.

I've already sent a shity email to Peugeot telling them what i think of there awesome remote locking system! Ninja
