My AUX belt decided after 2k miles it wanted to split to half its normal size and leave stringy belt all over my pulleys today.

Iv asked a garage to quote me on replacing it but how are they to do myself, Obviasly its alot easier than the Cambelt but i cant afford to get the head fitted yet so need this replacing before hand.

I can only seem to find cambelt related threads when i seach

Thanks

Hi mate

i think there is something in the Faq but it is quite an easy job.

There is a bolt to tension the belt up the top by the engine mount, usually an allen bolt and will be sticking up as if not screwed in properly.
If you loosen this it will slacken off the belt and you should be able to get it off.

Hope this helps
