I can't actually believe that some people are on here thought that I was serious, the only people that fit things like that have 5 door R reg Saxo 1.1's!

I think you also have to have Halfords lexus lights and a sun strip to get the full BHP out of it

In all seriousness there is development going on/been done on proper electric superchargers, more for the use in small petrol and diesel engines to increase economy though.

If you want max boost all the time use a jet turbine engine to spin a turbo, that'll do the trick.

im pretty sure i email them one and he told me my 10 yr old gti6 engine would only be running at 150bhp and these electric supercharger would get it up to 170

i lol'd hard

(edit yeh iv read somewhere they actually are developing/already made electric superchargers... decent ones for use in today’s car market

    VW's been working on them for nearly 10 years now, it's viable - but only if the entire car electrics were altered to work from at least 48v, so they've switched to seeing whether it's possible to just use a bank of those new nanotube-based capactitors and just give you 30s of boost every few minutes - after all, that's all most people will ever want.

    One of my sisters old BF was telling me how he had a supercharged scooby, i questioned him and asked "are you sure it wasnt turbo'd, most of them are?" to which he replied, "nah, deff supercharged, got it off ebay" LOL
