Got some smoke coming out of exhaust, white, filled it with 10 litres of oil nby mistake before and its also been sat for a while, its now running right amount of fresh oil new filters etc but when I started it other day after its been sat for ages it was pretty smokey (its in a workshop)

Is this normal because it's been sat?

Whats best? leave it running a while and check it stops?

Thanks

hey matey, when i filled my engine up with too much oil, it smoked white. have you fully drained the engine and only put in 5 litres of oil?

could be that you just need to take it out to get it through the system, although i have just had to have my coolant pipes at the back of the engine replaced because of oil contamination, when i over filled the engine with oil last may Sad

10 litres is shit loads, i would also check the manifold that there is no oil there, as i noticed there was abit of oil from last time in the induction piping i had.

ok to run it like that tho ye?

Also what triggers the fuel cut off ? red button thing under bonnet..

And one last question, the oil cooler, has two pipes, I have connected one (cant remember which) - where are the two meant to go to?

Sorry for the novice questions Smile
