Hi' i have also Citroen ZX reflex which i enjoy
playing with cheap stuff , now i like to lower and stiffen the ride , so i found a guy who offer good price for Eibach pro-kit for 405 pug.
i checked in Eibach site and found that the front load it set to 880kg which is only 10kg heavy than the ZX pro-kit springs.
i guess that the only variable to check is if there's or not significant difference in the wishbones arms length that translate into the torque which compress the coil spring.
is there more things to consider for successful matching ?

Have a look at early Xsara VTS springs as they are the same as the ZX and are a heavier car as standard. The ZX and Xsara mk1 have shorter springs as standard versus a GTi6 as well.

As a rule the Eibach stuff isn't much stiffer than standard, but also consider that your damper rate will change the car's feel as much as spring stiffness. Same with the sway/anti roll bar, but i'd not increase the thickness of the front bar in a hurry.

Using stiffer springs with the same length as the original i'll ended with higher front.
i have option to install complete rear axle from xsara 2004 2.0l or zx volcan.
for now i want to deal first with the front spring.
i don't want to buy new expensive after market parts (i'm saving it for the 16v) so for now i need help to choose from this options : buying the eibach 405 pro-kit
or cutting zx volcan springs i have.
i founded very strange logic in the eibach catalog
regarding the zx and the 306.
there is only one lowering spring for all the zx family
from the light reflex with 2205lb to the heavy 16v with 2535 lb,
than when i took a look at the 306 option , i saw two springs one for the 1.4 , 1.6 and the other for the rest.
