I took them during the day so unable to see the proper effect but i held them up against the window with the backing behind to give an idea of the look when lit up:



And this is them laid out:


As you can see the backing is dark blue with light blue KMH, and it has wrinkled slightly at the top corners where there is not a lot to stick it to on the speedo unit, but it has never affected the look of the light coming through.

I have stuck the backing to a sheet of 3m frosted sticky back plastic so it will just need the milage hole and speedo needle hole etc... cutting out before use, but you should be able to just peel the backing off and stick it in place when this is done. i still have the original metal monkey instructions and some of the sticky pads to hold the dials in place.
