As the 106 Rallye is sold i thought i'd buy a new run about, only changes i've made so far is i've 2 tyres on the front so it legal to drive and ive set it up on the gas anyliser, co was at 5.38 recomended 2.5-3.0 so i'd say it would have been costing the previous owner a fair few quid to run, it now set at 2.85 and she runs good only problem is i set it up warm and it wont idle when cold so i need to play a bit more Smile

First thing im doing is changing the mirrors they are S**T, i have got a spare standard pair but 1 has damaged glass and the other a damaged arm so might just put the matigs on for now and see how it looks, im not sure on the alloys at the moment im on 2 mind at the moment 1put standard alloys on it and keep everything original or 2 put smaller tyres on it and lower it 80mm de badged grill etc etc

Wheels are Revolutions

Car will be up for sale in a month or so im only using it to move parts for the rallye save having to strip the xsi out

67k on clock the lad says he's got folders of history at his dads that he'll send on but im not that convised i'll see it if it exists, there isnt any major wear on seats wheel etc to sugest its done more mileage

MOT - end Nov 2010
Tax - Till June 2010

back it off down to 1.5-2% on the CO and it'll work much better Simon, had exactly the same idling issues with mine for the MOT a month ago.

I quite like the wheels, some of the PTS wheels were a very similar shape, less dish to the spoke IIRC, look similar to the Mi16 wheels.

not at all no, that's the recommended area to set them to, 3.5% is just the limit.

idling and coming onto throttle from idle is much smoother, far less kangarooing.
