Where's everyone buying their oil from now?

I was expecting to get some Total oil from GSF untill they told me they don't sell it anymore, only Fuchs.

So I rang Peugeot who only sell 5W/30 for their modern cars.

Been to Costco to have a look for some Mobil 1 but they only sell 0W/40.

Dread the idea of going to Halfords and paying their prices?

Anyone offer any advice?

Mobil 1 0w/40 is fine. Yes

If you specifically want the Total quartz though, both my local Peugeot and Citroen dealers sell it.

Yep that's the stuff. I don't know why you're saying "only" 0W40 as that's exactly the one you want..(is it that the number 0 worries you?) Do a search for 0w40 you'll get loads of results, I've tried to explain this so many times..

For example this.

Or this.

Yep, go back to Costco and buy some Mobil 1 0W40 (but not the Mobil 1 Turbodiesel they might also sell).

Thumbs up

Course you can mate.

Didn't realise the 0W40 was ok. They only sell it in 4 litres though. That only comes up to the minimum mark doesn't it?

My local Pug has just changed to Total 10W40 after years of stocking another lesser known brand.
