Is it out from the bottom with gearbox or seperate box and engine out the top?

if your stripping the car to scrap then i find just drop the subfarme of and drop engine and box out the bottom on a jack, if you taking just the engine out to do a swap or repair then out the top.,

subframe out is the way to go then. what time would you say it takes? only as I am paying my brother in law to do it and he can be a tad slow so I want to through a time to be done by lol

I too always take them out the bottom, subframe off and its easy, out the top you will need to be very carefull not to damage anything.

it takes me about an hour to strip the whole front end to be bits and thats done properly, but i have done many and know the quick ways around things.
half a day would be about right if you have all the right tooling, jacks, impact guns etc

done it a few ways, i found the time it takes to whip everything off the front saves you trying to get it to lift over the slam panel on your crane when you have nobody helping you. lights, rad, slam panel, bosh. support, unbolt, slide out the front job jobbed
