I just fitted one at the weekend as the existing standard one on my 6 was useless! I was starting to hate driving the car due to the amount of movement in the engine...

The car is transformed now, it's so much nicer to drive, gearchanges are much smoother both up and down the box.

It does add a noticeable amount of vibration and noise but this is only a problem on initial startup and when you're manoeuvring at low speed, the dash buzzes a bit etc but for me I can live with it. The only thing I did was add some padded tape to the inner surface of the glovebox to stop it vibrating on the latch.

I recommend it completely, it's an easy change especially if you press the BBM mount into a spare engine mount and swap the whole lot out, 2 hour job maximum...

an alternative is Miles Group N type mounts, got engine / GB ones fitted to mine, and he can press mounts in for a deposit and they send the old one back if its easier (although i never remembered to send my old one back and is still in the boot Doh)

They vibrate the dash a fair bit, but I think how bad/where it vibrates is down to how old the car is etc as both me and Mat have them and our dashs vibrate in different places.

indeed (didnt realise they were the same tbh)

Mine only vibrates mainly 1000-1.2 revs, the bit where the front ash tray meets the central dash as there is a gap, and glove box panel LOL
