Hi guys,

I think its the pump that's on it's way out, but it'd be good if someone would confirm

Basically after getting stuck in the snow last week, about an hour of steering lock to lock finally got it free... but at the end i had no power steering.

a couple of days later i started the car and the power steering was back, only now on full lock either side it makes an awful noise.

Could it be the ram? pump? or both?

Cheers

James

When my pump packed in,It too was making a lot of noise on full lock. Also a lot stiffer steering on slower speeds(obviously).
