It depends entirely on your budget. The cheapest and most practical option would be to sell the XSi and buy a GTi-6.

If you don't like the sound of that then fit a complete GTi-6 head with cams and manifolds and use a GTi-6 ECU and you will be very close to GTi-6 power.

Alternatively if you have

To be honest, I'd make a decision as to weather or not it's worth fixing up the XSi and putting more money into it. If the answer is no then break it for parts and move on.

If it is worth spending money on then get it fixed and serviced first before you modify any further.

thats the way forward like 8v turbos are great in the 06, 2 of my pals have that and another in a 205, when my rallye was sitting at 190bhp, cherrys turbo was quicker than my rallye, and its standard with a bigger intercooler.

Just slap throttle bodies cams and pistons on it, or a Supercharger, they'll all fit the XSi block and head and give very good gains, the XSi heads aren't that restrictive at all (on a par with Mi16 port wise, just more modern design of the gti6 head), its mainly the cams and manifolds that hold them back.

Have you considered the resitor mods available on eBay, i've heard nothing but glowing reports fro them! Also, add that with an electric supercharger for an instant 200bhp! Smile

Alough this man is correct. You will almost definately need viper stripes to hit the 200bhp mark........Whistle

although if you do put the stripes on the added power will not be noticed as the added weight and the extra drag will reduce the cars overall performance, best get 1 stripe and an "evo" bonnet to compensate Wink LOL
