You've answered your own question. They are not the same.

both LOL

I know Milltek used to do a xsara exhaust, the centre section of a Xsara is the same as a ZX, only the cat/downpipe is the same a s a 306.

I will find out soon a bit if a Xsara backbox will fit a ZX, I think they just have a longer tailpipe.

TBH the standard one is pretty good, if I wanted an improvement I;d be looking at a proper Motorsport fabricator to build one for me.

as long as the pipe diameter matches then cheap ones will do to get you on the road, seeing as you're not a million miles away, I'd go and see Miles's exhaust man, they do a proven 306 system, it'd just need the bends making to suit the zx floorpan.

whatever is on there since when I bought it, and a standard gti6 cat LOL

I have an o.e Xsara exhaust to try and fit soon.

have a look at Miles's ebay shop for a guide to pricing.

apart from a gti6 engine, with a slight head skim (HG blew) larger valve cutouts in the pistons and a PH2 inlet cam, Koni's all round, Pugracing braided brake lines and C5 wheels on PE2 tyres.

nope, pretty standard LOL
