did you use halfords china blue? or some matched colour? i would always get it matched to something rather than the halfords ones. i've seen some dreadful matches - their sigma blue looks like the laser green almost from the 205's!

Paul i know what you're saying, i sprayed up my petrol cap cover with a paint matched Sigma blue, and used halfords lacquer.....and tbh from a distance you can't tell the difference, but it certainly ain't a glass like look! Suppose that's what comes from being tight and not getting it sprayed properly!!

I just used the halfords stuff. Think i'll never be using them again. Either going to get a colour matched can or thinking of buying a cheapy compressor.

There's a paint place near me that has about 6 different shades of every paint colour Peugeot use, they held a swatch up to my paint in different light and we decided it was sigma with a slight green hue, the can they made up with that paint code was perfectly matched! Bit useless though when your car needs to be there to match it to LOL

Paul I actually have two spoilers i'm doing, one's spoken for but i'll keep you in mind for the other Thumbs up

your opinion! I happen to think Carbon on China will look awesome, hence why i have wing mirrors and filler strips and i am having grill and hockey sticks done. I will then be on the look out for a bonnet

Thanks for te the replys. Although I agree with mcfc1987 a carbon bonnet would look sweet, shame I doubt I could afford one for a long time.

On a different note, I should be picking up my alloys today and as soon as I get my spacers I can fit them along with my brake set up. If I'm honest I am slightly worried that 205/60/16 tyres with a 20mm spacer is going to touch something in the arch, but won't know till they turn up.

When that's all on I can start on the overhaul of a different colour for the details Hyper

Edit: sorry I meant 205/50/16.

They fit fine then? Don't know why I said 205/60 silly me.

Right just collected them and they look massive I dont think they are going to fit. Can anybody (welshpug) let me know for sure before I start buying spacers and all that.

Ash when you said providing its not sitting in the weeds, what do you mean by that? Lowered at all, or do you mean slammed... Because its the same height as when you had it.

And the brake I cant wait to fit to it.

they are a tad big but should still fit ok, overall diameter will be 15mm larger than 195 55 15, 20mm larger than 205 45 16 (halve that to see how much extra tyre you'll have in the arch)

brakes look nice, how many ££££ ?

They were £850 been fitted but never been used. ok well I don't have 195/55/15s ATM so I still can't find out. what spacer would I need to make et42 fit?
Suppose if it comes to it I could get new tyres and sell these ones as they are pretty much brand new.

Ideally you want an ET around 15-19. The spacers I have will drop it to ET22 so closer to the inner arch ie. further inboard. Might be an idea if you're worried about hitting the outer arch?

YHPM by the way Wink

Well I decided against putting on the superleggras, so there up for sale if anybodys interested for £300 which is what I paid for them...

I bought these instead!

Fitted them today and I'm really happy with them Smile they are still 16x7 but a more friendly ET15 so went straight on.

The only thing concerning me is when driving round a corner quite fast today I heard a slight rubbing noise from the back. With the offset, would I be right in thinking they are rubbing on the inner plastic arch?
If so should I just remove the arch or let it slowly wear away?

Pictures of them fitted...

Speedlines look great. If they are catching on the rear, it could be the wheel arch lips themselves, they might need tweaking a touch. You'll see if its catching on the inner arch as you will be able to spot the "rub" points.

Yeah I will have to have a look tomorrow in the light. I'm pretty sure it is the inside so shouldn't be much to worry about as it's plastic on the tyre other than metal if it was the outside arch.

Will get round to selling them, but all the tyres are illegal and kerbed so won't be selling them for much.

Yeah I'm getting rid of that now, it doesn't look right black. Got something else in mind.
