HGF, and a broken piston ring on the same cylinder that had the breach. Perfect excuse for some shiny bits Hyper

Only problem has been getting hold of all the bits I need to put the engine back together Roll eyes

Longer bolts received from Mr Swampy. So I got round to fitting a strut brace I ordered last week.

Also got a few pictures from last week while I was down in the new forest

Shiny shiny.

Cheeky little service done last week, can't believe I've had this a year since yesterday gone quickly and has been emotional at times LOL

And a new air scoop as mine old one was cracked

£400 worth of gear there, expensive to run these things Blink

New list of things to do for this year will be
  • Carbon goodies as didn't get any this year
  • Boost gauge
  • 16inch wheels
  • Brembos
  • Start on high boost collecting

Cheers guys, will be on most of the winter at least. Nice brace isn't it, didn't notice to much difference though. Probably do not drive the car hard enough to realise.

Good afternoon everybody. Not much done to this over the last few months due to the cold weather. Just a few pictures of the small jobs.
First up was getting hold of a nut to refit the uprated gearbox mount

I also got hold of a nice carbon fibre coilpack cover with stainless bolts.

And lastly got round to fitting a afr gauge which I got off Mabz and with his fitting guide made it a doodle. I decided to mount it in the A pillar.
At the moment there's space for another gauge which eventually I will get round to buying a boost gauge and get the pod filled to the pillar and sprayed black.

Thanks for the offer mate but my old one was black just didn't want to ruin it as I would like the pillar all filled in flush to the pod also that screw holder the pod on is annoying me LOL
Na haven't fitted it yet. Am going to when I get my inlet painted.

Yeah was nice and easy mate. Just follow mabz FAQ and you can't go wrong. Yeah I know it looks a tad like that where it is but always wanted gauges up the a pillar Big grin
