Right 3rd 306 into my life, 2nd GTi-6 and I think its about time to start a project thread. Also im sure Ash would like to know whats happening to his old baby. Just a warning that this isn't going to be anything amazing for a while as I am broke after buying the car and insuring the bugger! So not a very good project thread Whistle

Things I would like to do...
  • Xenons
  • New mats
  • Upgrade Speakers
  • Lightened flywheel
  • Change boost pipes to metal ones
  • Some carbon goodies
  • Strut brace

    • Right on the 22nd November I exchanged this...

    After driving 250 miles home in the p*ssing rain, very scary in a new car let alone its extra power its packing under the bonnet. Its now sporting my black cyclones from my Blaze... I also did an oil change (

    but remember high boost has higher temperature able components inside. Low boost you are essentially making the engine work harder without replacing the main internal components Smile

    Right so after alot of booze and lots of food, ive finally got round to fiddling with some of my presents...
    First off was a nice set of car mats, so I could get rid of the original Peugeot rubber car mates, if anybody want these drop me a pm...



    Next was to attemped fitting my front door speakers after a little fiddle I realised I needed a 40mm circular drill bit for the tweeter in the wingmirror blanks, does anybody know if these are going to crack easily? I'll get back to these...


    Next was my xenon set, I went for a 8000k bulb colour as I wanted a nice blue tint to the lights.

    First was to drill a hole into light covers


    Then was to just plug them in and enjoy my nice new lights, great simple mod for the timespan of 30 minutes.
    One fitted...


    Both fitted...

    Will update when the speakers are in Big grin
