Some better photos although taken on the phone

I think it looks much better with the decals.

Will sort out some decent photos once I've given it a clean and dug out the camera

Admittedly the standard seats had to go back in, and she never actually attempted to get in the car in that dress.

It was used to take me /best man to the venue.

Got another feature of the rallye in the next issue of Performance French Car Magazine, Out 7th Feb.

If anyone is interested in picking up a copy for a read. No idea what the write up will be like, but its titled 'Budget Track Car' so no idea how to take it yet. It could paint me in all sorts of different ways

Anyhow, Thoughts on it appreciated when its out.

Cheers

Anyhow, on a car update front, I need to give it some TLC and then get myself booked in for a few trackdays. Just waiting on some driveshafts turning up for it and then I can spend a day on it again.

This is how it was on Saturday (half the reason I've not been giving it much TLC lately

Want to add more bracing to the cage and fabricate some 'X' doorbars. Try to lower and get the passenger seat further back.

Looking for a steering boss spacer/snap off as well and I want to give it a once over this summer, get back under the arches, clean them up and get them painted again, kill any rust.

In May this year I'll have had it 7 years, Taking away insurance, tax and fuel, it works out less than £1000/year, that includes the initial purchase costs, modifying it to what it is now and maintaining it (brakes/tyres from trackdays etc) Also did a full engine rebuild last year.

So in comparison to a lot of the cars I see at trackdays, it probably is budget haha

Im hoping to get back down to snetterton this year, and pretty sure we could get something else sorted, keep me posted when your car is done and we can try and sort a trackday/catch up out.

Well I've not been around much for a long time but been spending a bit of time recently sorting the rallye out and using it again. It had taken a back seat as the past 2 years I'd got pretty serious about my mountain biking and more specifically my downhilling. However I recently (October) seperated my shoulder, grade 3 with completely torn ligaments. So wont be riding for a while and starting finding the love for the rallye again.

Plan to enjoy it again for the next 12 months, few trackdays and what not. Then if plans work out about moving in the new year, I'll have somewhere next year to strip the whole thing down and tidy it up/restore it properly during winter 2015. Still plans can soo change lol.

Few from the last few weekends out in it.

Currently looking to change the wheels as I've had these long enough now and fancy a change.
