Oil was hitting the red before I fitted the cooler, now its gets to around 120-130C but on colder/wetter/windier days (like at anglesey) I could be out on track for 45mins at a time and it didnt get higher that 100C

I'll get one of the footrests fitted next time I give it a good going over.

As for the detailing, i do it myself, tho need a proper machine polisher to do a few bits of paint correction.

Now I have the DT I may get chance to spend some time back on the rallye and getting it back out on the track where it belongs.

Its in need of a full detail tho, just need a dry/mild weekend where Ive nothing planned so I can give it the full once over.

Anyhow, the latest one of it from earlier this week with its older/smokier brother lol

Bit of a difference

I think yours is the only Rallye/GTi that i like that is slammed as much as yours Ben.

It just seems right some how!

You going for some different summer wheels this year or sticking with the usual ones?

cheers people!

I can imagine a black car is much harder to detail but I'll let you know once the weather warms up lo.

Jib, Cheers. Ive bought another set the same as my white ones (currently in standard silver) but I think I might have a go with them red, mainly for the track days!

Flocked dash is on my 'to do' list lol.

as for trackdays. Nothing formally booked as Im moving back into our house in April/May (waiting for the tenents to move out as we rented it out when we went to Canada)

Plant to get to silverstone, anglesey again and wouldnt mind croft. Also be doing some sessions at PPC in the park hopefully at Mallory
