ive recently taken the cat off my 6 sounds mint with the magnex and k n .was runing lovely beta than it ever has ,but its lost a bit of botom end poke over the last couple of weeks and its been missfiring every now and then ,and when ime in a 4o zone in 6th just cruzing it juders a bit wen you put your foot down a bit .ime taking engine out over x mass for cambelt head gasket and reseat the valves ,i was thinking about pluging it in at local garage to see if any sensers or if ther was anything on the way out ,

Seems similar to the problem I'm having except I haven't changed anything since it's started Sad

My Rallye had a Magnex on when I bought it. The missus refused to go out in the car with that on (embarrassed by the noise) so I swapped it for a standard system. I

you loose torque when you fit a decat, that may explain the slower low down speed, as for misfiring , that could be coilpacks?

The standard system is very good. Generally unless you spend shit loads on a matched exhaust the stainless systems will only give you a couple of positives - lighter weight and last longer Thumbs up
