could someone tell me the colour of the water sensor?? plus my rev counter isnt working???..Huh?

There are 3 water temp sensors IIRC.

The brown one controls the fan
The green one sends a water temp reading to the ECU
The blue one provides a reading for the instrument cluster

Always thought the rev counter was driven from the crank sensor, without which the car won't start. Therefore I'd assume it's a problem in the cluster rather than with the pickup.

rev counter is driven from the ecu, though yes the ecu relies on the tdc sensor to know the engine is turning to fire the injectors and coilpacks.

could be a bad connection in the round plugs on the chassis rail by the airbox.
