Damn french pos, things break with immaculate timing!

Went to leave work, turn the rear wiper on and it did a sweep across the rear screen and stopped but was making a noise as if the teeth on the motor weren't engaging with the arm.

Got home and moved the arm manually and it went back to the park position, did a sweep and got stuck again. What would need replacing please? I have a spare meridian that I can "borrow" parts from Whistle

Great minds like. Takes 10 minutes to remove one as long as the wiper arm plays ball.

I've never used a rear wiper for the last god knows how many years on these. Do they serve a purpose?

By that logic, you could remove the CAT and get it to pass Razz anyway back to the wiper, mine worked fine, before last night, cleared properly without the usual area missed or any issues whatsoever? Plus I can't stand a filthy screen so want this wiper to work again.
