Just put a new engine in my 306 and I've got no reverse lights! Am I right in thinking that the sensor responsible for the function of the lights is the yellow one on top of the gearbox?

Its connected properly and I am using the same gearbox and wiring as before and the lights used to work perfectly fine.

Any ideas?

if it was the same as when my lights went, its the reverse light switch on top of the GB, right b*tch to get to for me, unless you have hands of a 12yr old boy Dunno think this has been covered a lot! search.

I have searched but it was working fine before the engine transplant so I thought there could be something wrong with the connection..
