My 6 has let me down once again but i'm getting used to it now. since u've had the car and through various engines and heads (2 completely different set of engine sensors) the car has always had a flat spot/hesitation that this afternoon developed into it not being able to pull itself along ticks over okay ish but sort of on 3 but as soon as you try to rev it it splutters and then dies. now i cant even get it to start it just fires as you spin it over.

i'm starting to think that maybe the fuel pump has gone faulty. has this happened to many others on here? i.ve never had one fail on me before with owning lots of peugeot/citroens but everything else has been changed including coil packs etc

any ideas, ECU maybe but i doubt that.....

thanks

If you are able to get the car over to me i am sure i will have enough spare sensors etc and the diagnostic tools for sorting out the problems.

If you need a sensor etc let me know, can get costly having to buy them to find that wasnt the fault.

trouble is the engine I have in now came with inlet with all sensors and injectors etc the only things common to both setups is wiring loom, injection relay, and fuel pump. I have had a diagnostic tool on it before when it was just a flat spot and it didnt detect anything thats why its making me think fuel pump or relay, may try it again now that its developed to complete failure see if i throws anything up.

I think I will try another crank sensor and I'll see if i can coble together some sort of fuel pressure sensor (done it before on my race saxo using an old oil pressure gauge) got to recover the bloody thing as well asuming its still there or not on bricks.
