For the last few days my water temperature guage has been doing it's own thing.
Now I already know that these engines run hot in traffic and the guage often hovers around here until I can get some air flowing to the rad.


However you don't expect it do this when you switch off the engine Crazy


Any ideas what could be causing this?

Good shout i had this problem, only it was my speedo.
It turned out to be the earth on the chassis leg near the battery box.
