how do you change the silver cap on the gearstick. mine is all cracked and i have a nice shiny new one waiting to go in but dont want to go at it to find theres a simple way to change it.

Just carefully lever it out, being careful not to hurt the leather.

LOL too true, with a bit of spiriting driving, throw it into third and i seem to throw it at the dash! il get a pretty silver one sometime.!

but as said, it will just leaver out, unless someone has glued it, which i think isnt to un common!
