Hi,

I have done a search but nothing mathcing what i wish to know.

I am looking to replace a blown bulb on my dipped and main beams,

what are the best non HID xenon converted bulbs or can i use those bulbs without a conversion

sorry am useless with stuff like this.

Philips power x-treme (extreme)
or osram night breakers.

philips are better but the osrams are slightly cheaper.

single bulbs headlights take h4

and twin bulb units take h7

guessing the twin unit is one buld for dipped one for main beams? seems these are 97 onwards?

I changed mine for Osram nightbreakers. There was only a slight increase over standard. I then changed them for phillips power x-treme which are brighter again but still not that bright! I think the HID route will be the next option.

i-Play with the night breakers were they any whiter than standard? as mine a pretty yellow LOL

got mine of e-bay cheap,

not to worry went to my local garage and picked up another h7 bulb, went to fit it and it wasnt even the bulb gone the wire had corroded!!

thats not both head light wires that have done that!!
