I have done a search but didn't really find any definitive answers.

Has anyone used, with satisfactory results, the Contitech belts kits and/or Circoli / KWP water pumps as sold by Euro Car Parts?

I know a lot of folk on here swear by Gates / Daco / Airtex, etc but what are peoples opinions on the Euro bits?

I ask as im going there at the weekend anyway and if the parts are up to scratch it'l save me a bit of running around.

Are they ok or are they to steer well clear of?

Cheers
Rob

Hiya mate,

from my experience and knowledge gates, dayco and conti are pretty good belts. i prefer the 136 tooth kit as it's got a metal tensioner. but any of those is pretty good, just remember to change it regularly and you'll be fine.

as for the waterpump, i use airtex where i can. i've never even heard of circoli or KWP.

hope this helps mate.

Hiya mate, thanks for the more grown up reply and advice. Much appreciated. Smile

Thanks for the advice peeps. Really need to get bashed on with this. So bloody scared of it going now, previous owner has no idea when it was last done, (he never had it done) and cant find anything in the cars history to see when it had one. (not a great history tbh)
I'm probably on borrowed time already.
