I suspect this as been the cause of my oil light lit dimly so an wanting to replace it. Anyone help with the location and how to remove and refit it. I currently have the front of the car off and battery any out already. Thanks

You need to drop the sump off to access it. Not easy getting the chain off.

When refitting, you need to make certain that it's completely clean and make sure you put some instant gasket on the mating surface of the sump.

More than likely it's the sensor packing in though.

^^^ hello mate, you've got a lot to do. do as khj100 has stated.

also be careful undoing the bolt which holds the dipstick guide down, as it can shear.

sensor is scerewed into the oil ways on the block, there's one right above the oil filter, and often a second unused one just behind the starter motor, if there is I would swap them over and see what happens.

if it still shows low pressure its more likely to be worn engine bearings than an oil pump, they are typically very long lasting on a pug engine.

The one on the front of the sump is oil level I believe.

naah, oil temp, oil level is next to the oil pressure but has a short fly lead.
