Is there any differance in the engines that i should know about because im putting my old xsara engine in my 306 gti next weekend! I own a xsara vts with a knackered rear beam and a 306 gti 6 with a knackered engine so im going to make the mighty gti live on! any help would be great cheers lads

there the same lad, only difference is the box but you'll be keeping your 6 speed in the 306 yes???

Only on later VTSs after ~2002 when a second lambda was fitted after the cat for emissions.

You have a few more differences between ph2 Xsaras and gti-6
Basically the whole management s different ECU, Loom and sensors, and for the mechanical part, I guess the Fuel pressure regulator is also different?
