Afternoon all. I am busy playing around with my 6 engine will be out this evening and hopefully it will have a good engine this time to put back in. Now I'm thinking of small improvements to make to the old girl and on of which is a set of bodies now i've been on the jenvey site and see the kit is 697.20 assuming this is the correct kit. I havnt rang up yet and wont have time today so i just thoug i'd ask how you guys have got on with getting a discount??

So whats the best price anyone has got a kit out of them??

Ta in advance

Carl

p.s. I know people have some for sale but I dont want management and I dont have a >grand.

find some gixxer 750 or thou bodies, send them down to colin satchel and you'll have a decent setup for less than Jenveys.

i can fit them. I know mapping is extra. But i dont have to get it mapped until next months pay. So i dont need 1k right now. And obviously regardless of extra costs i.e. Mapping, the cheaper i can get the bodies the better

I can do better than that, let me know what spec you need as there is single or twin linkage etc.

Please don;t used bike bodies, complete waste of time, Taken a couple of sets off now for customer's

all depends how they're put together! I agree most are cobbled together with silicone joiners and are crap.

Quality of the silicone used in bike conversions in general is rubbish
have to make sure its petrol resistant.
Speak to jenvy direct, they are very approchable.

Bike bodies done badly are bad, I agree; but done well, ie solid mounted in a CNC machined manifold, as good, perhaps even better, than Jenveys.
