I took my car to the garage today, as it pulls real bad to the right. I thought the tracking was out as i've recently had the front lowered.

They checked it and said the alignment was spot on, took it for a drive and it still pulls. They stuck it back on the ramp and checked out the suspension, and couldn't see anything obvious, such as bent wishbones, but he suggested the top mounts?

Anyone got any thoughts?

Cheers,

Adam

The first set of springs I got for mine were too short / soft and the car used to pull to the left slightly. I was going to get the tracking done, but after fitting a set of longer / harder springs, it disappeared.

How much is your lowered by?

It's been lowered 30mm a the front, and nothing at the back as of yet.

Could be, worn wishbone bushes, differences in tyre pressure and/or tyre wear, ream beam mount bushes.

Could be the balljoint is knackared or is moving around in the bottom of the hub. I'd check the hub pinch bolts asap to start with.

check the track length front to back on both sides... could be a misaligned beam or bent subframe.. top mounts are likely too.

Cheers for the advice everyone.

After getting my Dad to take the suspension apart on sunday, we've discovered the drivers side top mount is knackered. Where can i get one, and are they handed?

Don't think they are - usual suspects GSF, ECP, local factors, Peugeot...

This sounds promising then, I've had the same problem and I've got some new mounts and bearings yet to fit. If it ever stops raining.
