Have this exact issue. Drivers rear sidelight works fine.

Appears to have been some water in the passenger rear so going to swap out the internals of that first.

Any ideas how this would affect the front sideligths though? Thumbs up

It shouldn't technically affect the front, but considering it does i'm wondering whether water has got in with the Relays located Top right in the engine bay.

That could be one of the many explanations to this problem.

I know that the front sidelights and one of the rear sidelights are on the same circuit, so I am guessing that the fuse for this circuit is blown, even though it may *look* ok.

Electrically test it, rather than just a visual check. Thumbs up

All fuses ok, continuity across them all.

Plugged the drivers side cluster into the passenger side and it works so looks like the cluster has a short.

Been to 5 scrappies none. who have a 3061

wanted add going up in a sec. .thumbsup

Scrap my last -

No blown fuses - checked continuity across them all. (Believe it is fuse 4 for the front sidelights and rear passenger.)

Both clusters are working (tested on drivers side) so not shorted as i previously thought.

Now the interesting thing is that I have no voltage at any pin on the plug at passenger rear and both fron headlights.

Any other ideas?

I'm assuming you have tested every Pin with a solid earth to confirm on no voltage then?

I'm wondering if you have a dodgy earth, check out the earth points on the chassis leg, clean them up and try again.

Yes checked every pin with sidelights turned on at the stalk.

Earths sounds like a good shout - job for tomorrow as it's baltic up here today.

I've found a few posts of people with the same problem but nobody has posted a resolution.

Cheers for the help so far Thumbs up

All sorted - finally got my Autodata working so got a hold of the wiring diagrams.

Ended up being fuse number 9 that was blow but it was belling for continuity across the 2 terminlas on top of the fuse. Visual inspection showed otherwise.

So for future reference on a Phase 2 - Fuse 4 is for drivers rear sidelight - fuse 9 is for both fromt sidelights and the passenger rear sidelight.

Cheers Thumbs up
