I have a brand new engine loom with damage to the front two radiator connector plugs Sad

These plugs have about 20 wires ... is it a non starter to splice in a new plug or should I use an old engine loom?

I know the resistance is importance in the engine loom etc.

Half sorted this problem by buying two new plug connectors and will be changing the pins. The new plugs do not come with the silicon bond behind the plug.
Can anyone advise on something which can bond the wires into the back of the plug once the pins are in the plug?

Can the car be driven a short distance without this plug being connected?
