Had a look under the car this morning to try and figure out what's been causing the ABS fault...

Found that the ring on the driveshaft is actually loose.

Is it time for a new driveshaft or can this be fixed without going down that (expensive) route??

If you are careful you can weld a couple of spots onto the cv joint to reattach it, otherwise its a new shaft.

Thanks Carl,

Any idea on what a replacement driveshaft will cost? Worth getting genuine Peugeot or will a GSF one be any good?

Craig
