Been thinking about this for a while now but as I might finally have my own workshops/tube benders available this winter, would there be any interest in some fully fitted cages?

Initially we'll be sticking to a simple 6-point weld-in design + extras if wanted (door bars, extra diagonals, etc), because they'll be done around other work for the winter - although come next summer we'll branch out into semi-spaceframe types - the 6-point should come in roughly at

rough diagram of one might be a good idea so people can see, but i presume it would be like an SD style cage but you can add things on and make more work for phil LOL

Ay, more bars is never a problem LOL

I'll get a computer model up when I get chance, 'cause I've already got my own cage modelled up.

LOL

Quick doodle, you'd get everything in orange for that:

When I say 6-point, I mean the number of terminated connections to the chassis, but given every car will have the cage custom-made to fit the shell, it'll be welded up the a-pillar legs, b-pillars, and across the roof on the main hoop and the windscreen bar too.

Rear half-cages will be available too from the off, as will modifications/upgrades to existing cages.

Mei, you can have the tea-boy job, but I'm afraid the demand for the position is such that you'll have to be paying me Whistle LOL

i'm tempted to ask you how much my cage, for you to build it, and fit it, would have been rather than buying at CC and supplying to you, but i'm not sure i'll like the answer... LOL
