when i removed my fuel rail for painting, only 1 injector came out with the rail, it had no cap on the end, i thought this was normal, until earlier when i went to refit it and had to remove the other 3 injectors and noticed that all the others had this plastic cap on.

im now wondering wether to remove the inlet manifold to look for it or wether this has been lost at a previous date.

what exactly does this cap do? would i have noticed if it has never been there while ive owned it?
can it fit into the cylinder as it has a sticky out bit?

has anybody got 1 spareLOL ?

andy

i'd have a look for it personally.

pretty sure it makes the spray from the injector into 4 instead of a pair or singe squirt.
