hi i have got a 306 2lt 16v xsi engin sittin in the shed would a gti head fit on to it and would it make any diffrance on the performance sideWink

Yes, the head would fit no bother. It would also provide a significant performance increase when used with the GTi-6 inlet and exhaust manifolds and camshafts....Yes

But you wouldn't get the extra piston cooling.

I think the GTi-6 block has extra oil jets to keep the underside of the pistons cooler for the extra performance.

depends on the year of the XSi block, some did have the piston spray jets.

i keep killin gti6 engins i got 3 now wonted to try somethin diff to see if it would last longer
