i am struggling to get my gearbox out, all the bolts are out, wires disconnected, i have the box about an inch from the engine, just feels like something inside is stopping it come out.

any ideas lads?

There is a pin locating the clutch lever arm at the top of the clutch fork rod thingy, you need to remove the pin to allow the forks to turn more freely and it should come off fingers crossed!

You just pull it, it may not be clutch anything to be honest LOL I just know it had to be pulled up to release it

the whole engine is coming out so i will be putting engine and box in at the same time

the pins are hit and miss i have had some which just pull out and some that wont come out for shit!!! good luck

Make sure you get the clutch properly lined up on the flywheel if your changing it, its a B****rd if the box wont go in whilst trying to wiggle the clutch arm round so that the fork goes behind the thrust bearing, (if that all makes sense) especially when doing it on your own. I found i had to split the box and block as i couldn't get the whole lot in on one attempt, which was a bummer,. Good luck!!!!

box and engine are out, getting my new engine on tuesday and hopefuly fitting on wednesday. the engine and box are all going in as 1, makes life easyer. i hope LOL
