Possibly the relays in the rear wiper are full of water. take the panel that covers the wipermotor off and remove the relays then replace the fuse see if that help. I can't remember how the water gets in at the moment but i'm sure it's been covered before

My 28 fuse popped a couple days ago. Rear wiper would not work.

Replaced fuse and now everything's hunky dorey again.

Rear wiper relay is your culprit my friend

You may get away with cleaning the relay, but unlikely. You can of course just unplug it if you don't want the rear wiper, then replace the fuse.

It won't stop you from driving the car, the alternator is working fine.

thanks tvr!

i tested the battery and it seems if its 14v then alls good alternator wise. and i had 14volt so i just carried on using the car LOL

why bring on the battery light though? how weird!

ill strip it down and take out the relay, the rear wiper has been intermittently working on its own for a month or so, so its well shagged

I forget why it brings the light on, something to do with backflow of current or an incomplete circuit.

electrickery is not my forte.
