Searched various websites, and searched various ways on here, and not been able to find what im looking for..

would anyone be as good as to post a pic, or give me instructions on how to locate the Air Intake Temperature Sensor..

does anybody know the part number for the intake air temp sensor, as pug reckon that they can only get it with the throttle body, and when they tried to get me one they came back with the heater thing!!

The picture in the Sensor Location FAQ isn't working.

Here is the full set of sensors for a phase 2 '6'

1920 1J TEMPERAT PROBE.

used on loads of TU3 engines as well as the XU10J4RS, and the TU5J4.

im pretty sure that its number 14 that pug orderd for me and it came back as the heater thing on the throttle body when it arrived.

1920 X6

and is on a different diagram.

Does not look like the one pictured either,no wire attached to the one on mineDunno Loom plugs straight into sensor on TBYes

    I've got a misfire when cold on very light throttle,upto 2000rpm.Also clears once upto normal temp.
    Have fitted a new coolant temp sensorThumbs up

    It was suggested it could be this air temp sensor,and people were saying its under £20 for a new one so thought was worth a trySmile

    But not trying one for £50!!Thumbs down

    It's actually only about £15 ish give or take.
