Probably.

They do a grooved disc for the GTi-6 in thier sport range but they're not cheap and there's currently no UK stock.

I was quoted

I'm pretty sure they do you know, look under Xantia estate, they use the same disc on many models as the gti6 Wink

There's many parts GSF don't list 100%, like the blue temp senders for 8 valve 205's and 1.9 Mi16's, its the same as a BMW part but not listed for a pug, only the BMW!

The look up on our website is only the most popular stuff that we sell...... top 50-60%

So yes thers a lot more stuff that we sell thats not on the site it is best to be-freind your local banch, theres a whole lot of knowledge that they have that you cant get on the website.

We are makeing some cahnges to the website soon, all the old aircooled stuff will be moving off to a seperate site then we can get everything we sell 70,000 lines on the the main site with full reg look up and allsorts of other stuff.........

But Brembo still dont make a 283mm MAX disc for the 6.................

It must have come from a Brembo cross reference table as I've seen it on a few web catalogues when looking up the GTi-6 fitment.

I think the BR just denotes Brembo though as I've only seen that prefix on one of them.

Had a change of plan and now in the office........

Here we go......

Brembo - STD OE Disc
Brembo MAX - High Carbon content disc which are balck and have groves cut into them..
Brembo Sport - X-Drilled or Groved

I/We as GSF can distribute both Brembo/Brembo MAX - But there is no MAX disc for the 283mm GTi/Rallye

The Sport range is distributed by the same company who sell all the caliper kits, they have exclusivity on those products.

Me I have always fitted Brembo STD OE discs to all the motors I have had since I was a kid and never had a problem...........

Hope that answers all questions...... Phew.....Crazy
