Will the C5 steel wheels fit above the original 283mm VTS/ GTI-6 calipers?

15" ET18 6J

(They weight 4.76kg each Shock)

I've got 15" ET18 6J steel wheels from a Xantia over Gti6 calipers. They're a bit heavier though!

Well to be honest I don't really see the reason why they won't fit, but I just want to be 10000% sure before I receive them.

Or I'll just go and buy them with the VTS and trial fit them on!

well I think so

But I don't know the good part number, as there were two different versions.

The only thing I know is, that you have to look for this: PS815011 punched into the lip of the wheel

Why are these wheels actually wanted just because they are lighter?

Hey, don't wear the violins out, I'm saving those for the weekend when something blows up on the car.
