Now as far as i can tell you cant get ds2500's for the Wilwood Midilites, but you can for the Wilwood Dynalites, they are

Good thread. Does rallydesign not sell these pads in the 1144 compound?

No im not running on cyclones, running on Team Dynamics 1.2's , the spacers are from Wolfrace and are 10mm hubcentric, 65.1mm inner and 72mm outer (perfect for Td 1.2's)

i got them from here :- http://shop.wolfraceaccessories.co.uk/categories/Alloy-Wheel-Spacers/

great work dave...

looks like they overhang on the discs a little... which may cause vibration when they wear down...

But sounds like a massive improvement anyhowBig grin

Another question Dave. Did you try the smart pad on track? I've not managed to get them to fadde on the road, even without using decent brake fluid

if that's necessary the bottom part of the pads can be machined down! Wink (I've seen several examples of this so)

Yeah they do overhang a little (say 1.5mm) but the pad area on the disc is slightly more anyway than the wilwoods, i could :-

A, leave as is and just file any lip off the pad as it develops,
B, take calipers off and adaptors and machine 2mm off face of adaptor to take caliper 2mm in closer to hub,
C, machine 2mm off pad material to top of pad

Hmm
seeing as the pads take literally a minute to take out i'll probably go for option A LOL

Nice project : )

from pics 9/10 looks like you could just cut away the metal under the central clip, but cutting them back to standard looks good.

Not really kept up with this thread, the backplates where a piece of p*ss to cut so shaping the pads to the original wilwoods was dead easy, i reckon i could cut and shape a new set of pads and have them fitted in well under an hour, Smile

No not had a problem with the overhang, the bit of brake pad that overhangs just falls off as the pad wears, thought I might have to file the lip off from time to time but not had to so far so all is good Smile
