Not a fan I'm afraid, although it looks like a good job.

Agree with Chris, why not get a plate diff?

I dont really like plate diffs for the setting up and servicing. ATB is fit and forget and uses regualr gear oil. All round a better option.

Subframe weighs a tonne and a pain to put on and off cos of its awkward shape.

May be an idea to get it seam welded first. I'm using a 1.4 subframe with less strenghtening as it weighs slightly less so adding the brace doesnt increase weight.

It is a bit marmite.. but it deffinately suits the plan and also the decals to go on. I'll get a few more complete shots when i get some time.

Two reasons really.. One cos the doors were layed with a second roll. Two.. because of the angle of light.. The doors are quite flat compared to arches which hit the camera at a different angle.. All tricky metallics. Looks same in the flesh.

rather than filling the bumper, could you not have just used a p2 xsi bumper without cutout?

then again you'd still need to have the circle for exhaust cut out of it in the centre..

Xsi bumpers are a different design.. The lower crease is different and its about 10mm longer, just doesnt look right

Thinking of it as two £500 resprays makes it a little less like bumsex without the lube LOL

I can't quite decide either; I loved the astor, but as has been said I'm sure it has to be seen in the metal to be fully appreciated! For sure it looks like a proper tidy job though!

Can't believe I've missed this one, looks awesome mate. If £1k includes all the prep I gotta say I don't think that's half bad if you consider how much it'd be for a proper respray.

Very impressive mate Thumbs up

Also remember that as he did it himself it only cost the Materials. The £1000 is the RRP for the same job fitted to a customers 306.
